Deep Dives
When my children were small we lived by a beautiful bay on the Tropic of Cancer and would spend many happy days playing in the warm sea water, creating imaginary scenarios for hours at a time.
Diving down to the bottom, my kids were often lucky to escape feisty sea creatures lurking in the sandy depths or catch a glimpse of mermaid treasures in the rocky pools.
I was never quite fast enough on my deep dives, but enthusiastic as always.
