I lived with my family in Muscat, Oman for some years when my children were young and have many happy memories of this beautiful country. The corniche is where we would visit the fish market early in the morning, or take visitors to see the stalls of the souk. We would walk along the corniche on cooler evenings, listening to the beautiful people talking, watching the children playing ball and the fisherman in their little boats. Oman is such a magical part of the world and we hold it dear to our hearts, this painting was borne from very happy memories.
