Living and travelling abroad had such a big impact on me and my young family. One of the highlights of our overseas posting was camping in the desert dunes in Oman. We would drive through many small villages on our way out to the wahiba sands and on arriving at the camping spot, we'd make our way to the top and sit together with friends, sipping Veuve and watching the sun set into the horizon.
These were amazing experiences in an incredibly stunning part of the world and I am so grateful I got to experience them.
