Early Morning Showers is painted across 2 canvasses of 98cm wide x 95cm each, professionally framed in deep edged, natural oak float frames. These pieces are varnished for protection and ship ready to hang. Total framed size 199cm (w) x 95cm (h).
 
My style is very expressive in nature with thick and thin areas of paint and energetic mark making. I've used collage and acrylics on these pieces to fully express the cool and muted tones of the landscape on a showery morning.
 
I enjoyed the freedom of using loose and textural mark making to convey a sense of the elements and a calming tonal colour palette. As with all of my art, these paintings are made from a recollection of very happy times and wonderful places and experiences. 
 
Positioned together on the wall, they create a beautifully large statement piece at almost 2m wide.  This pair of paintings would make a stunning gift for a special birthday or occasion or one of a kind gift for your own home interior.
