Goodness, Everywhere
Art friends speak of the richness and depth in this beautifully peaceful abstract painting, but what I haven’t shared before now is that painting this piece felt like an expansion of my soul.
I painted Goodness, Everywhere after a period of overwork resulted in burnout and I was reminded by a wise friend to slow down, take a breath and look around at all that is great in my world.
The expressive freedom with which I paint gives a sense of joyful abandon and the sophisticated structure of each layer creates a deeply relaxing and meditative painting that feels both tranquil and magnetic.
