My process is to paint and collage early layers on the canvas and then to use additive and subtractive techniques to reveal and enhance a form or figure. I am blessed with being pareidolic - having the ability to see patterns, particularly faces and figures, in random information - and after years of stifling it (!) will be exploring this further in my work in 2021.
 
The title Love Chocolate comes from the text in the collage material I chose to use.
This original artwork is on unstretched canvas and will require framing. It ships varnished for protection, is signed on the front and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
 
The painted area of the canvas measures approximately 42cm x 42cm plus allowance on the sides for stretching and framing. The final size will depend on your frame of choice. Please message me if you have any questions.
