On The Crest

On The Crest is a painting about the vastness of nature. Climbing to the crest of a hill and having an eye popping view opening before you. It is of no particular place, but a composition of memories of vistas I've seen either here or abroad.  
I enjoy painting expressively t o impress the energy of a place onto my canvas, the wind and trees, the movement of the clouds. Each stroke, line and mark are about the layers of nature around us and how much of it we can capture if we are quiet and still for long enough.
