Little spillers over submerged rocks were the inspiration for Reef Break. 
 
This painting was less about the surfing - it was too cold for me, and more about capturing the energy in the waves, as expressively and freely as I could.
The sea offers us so much, even in cold and woolly weather, it's a joy to be amongst it.
