This piece is from my Sensory series which explores experiences that relax my nervous system and bring me joy. 
 
Restorative 1 and 2  began with thoughts of scrambling among rockpools at low tide and looking into their sheltered spaces. A place of safety of calm away from the rush of the waves.
 
The colours and the marks are reminiscent of the quiet depth below the water, a place that feels nurturing and peaceful and awakens a world of curiosity within.
