Fun and playful, these sweet dogs appear in my moves and marks, in almost every painting. Now it's their time to shine.
 
I love to get into a flow state when I paint, and when I do, I inevitably end up seeing dogs and sometimes figures in the marks.
For many years I would paint over them, unsure how to resolve them in a way that I was happy with. I've come to realise how much I love to see them, a reminder to remain playful and lighthearted, both in painting and life.
My collectors tell me they delight in counting how many dogs there are - often they see more after some time has passed.
